I made this image in the heart of Makoshika State Park, where stone and sky meet in a timeless conversation. As the last light of day raked across the badlands, it illuminated the hoodoos and clay ridges in warm gold, revealing the intricate patterns carved by centuries of wind and rain. I was struck by how the land seemed alive — each crack and curve tracing the passage of time like veins in ancient skin.
Sculpted by Time reflects the elemental artistry of erosion — nature’s slow, deliberate hand shaping a landscape both fragile and eternal. Standing in the cool shadow of these formations, I felt both small and connected to something vast and enduring.
Each limited-edition print is produced using museum-grade archival pigment inks on fine cotton rag paper, ensuring extraordinary tonal depth and permanence. Also available as metal prints and acrylic glass face mounts, every piece is signed and numbered, offering collectors a choice between classic and modern presentation.
