Stormy weather is a favorite condition for me to be out in nature capturing the play of weather, especially in the mountains. On this October morning, near Owl Creek Pass in the San Juan Mountains, I was fortunate to capture storm clouds lifting off the jagged peaks of the Cimarron Ridge as the aspen covered mountainsides below exploded with peak autumn color.
