Overview
This part of Utah has places that feel like you are on a different planet, with large wilderness sections filled with unique colors, textures, and natural architecture. The region offers much to explore and photograph – from hidden canyons to dramatic narrows, rugged mountains, and spectacular rock formations that are strewn across the desert landscape.
In addition to spectacular landscape photography, this area is a must visit for any serious drone photographer. The opprotunities to capture stunning scenics & abstractions of the desert landscape is like no other in the world!
Itinerary
Day 1: Meet at 4pm for Opening Prersentations foloowed by a sunset photo shoot.
Day 2-4: Each morning we will be out before suin rise to be on location to capture the magtical light. Plan on being in the field each morning until around 10am. Afternoons will be for meals and resting. We will have an image editing classroom session (approx. 2 hours on day 4). Each after noon we will be out in the field for late afternoon light and sunset/twilight photography.
Day 5: Sunrise morning shoot. Workshop concludes no later than 10am.

- Introduction to drone photography, assistance with drone setup, and if it’s your first time or in-field instruction for how to fly one and use this new tool for photography

- A small group workshop so your experience is truly personal, and you get to know your guide and fellow photographers

Difficulty
There will be no strenuous hiking involved during the workshop and most locations will be close to the road. Some locations, however may involve a short hike of less than a mile with no serious elevation gains.
