Where Form Dissolves: Death Valley, Winter 2025

This collection explores a shift away from photographing the landscape as a fixed subject, and toward interpreting it as a series of evolving relationships—between light, form, and atmosphere.

In the desert, form often feels dominant—strong lines, bold shapes, clear structure. But under certain conditions—soft light, wind, haze—that structure begins to break down.

Edges blur. Contrast fades. Depth compresses.

What emerges is a quieter, more nuanced way of seeing—one that relies less on dramatic subjects and more on subtle transitions, tonal relationships, and restraint.

These images are less about documenting place—and more about exploring perception.
