Southern Appalachian Mountains

For more than twenty years, I’ve explored and photographed the rugged landscapes of the American Rockies—from the dramatic peaks of Colorado to the jagged skyline of Grand Teton National Park and the wild alpine wilderness of Glacier National Park. This collection is a long-term body of work created during countless seasons spent wandering mountain valleys, high alpine passes, glacial lakes, and remote backcountry landscapes.

Captured primarily during summer and fall, these images reflect the ever-changing moods of the Rockies—golden aspen groves beneath fresh snow, dramatic storm light sweeping across towering peaks, quiet alpine mornings, and fleeting moments of atmosphere that transform the landscape. The work ranges from grand mountain vistas to intimate scenes shaped by weather, texture, and light.
