Olympic National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site is three parks in one, offering us a unique opportunity to capture magical images of superb coastal, mountain, and rain forest scenery. Here you will find the longest undeveloped coast in the contiguous United States, with pebble-beaches, towering cliffs and offshore sea stacks; rain forests with moss-covered trees all surrounding the towering snow capped peaks of the Olympic Mountains.
Day 1: We kick things off with a meet & greet and short presentation on the park. Then it's out for the remainder of the afternoon/sunset for our fist photoshoot.
Day 2, 3, and 4: We don't have a set schedule and will remain flexible to make the most of the often changing weather conditions on the Olympic Peninsula. On average we will be out in the field 6-8 hours a day shooting a variety of landscapes from rainforests to wild beaches and even mountain vistas and alpine meadows. We will grab meals and breaks when we can in-between shooting locations. We will shoot sunrises and sunsets along the coast if the weather is cooperating. If it's raining in the morning or evening, we will skip trying to get light on the coast and focus on the amazing opportunities of shooting in the rainforests.
On Day 4, we conclude the workshop after our sunset shoot. This gives everyone a chance to sleep in the next morning before traveling back home
