About the class
This is a 4 week online class that will focus on the technical and creative aspects of image development in both Adobe Lightroom/Camera Raw and Photoshop. Each week you will have 3 online sessions (approximately 3 hours in length) via Zoom as well as image development assignments based on the techniques covered each week with a critique and analysis session on Friday of each week.
Students will have access to a private forum where they can post image examples from the assignments and ask questions, as well as connecting with other students inn the class.
Weekly Class Schedule
Monday: 3 hour online Zoom class
Tuesday: Image assignment based on Monday lessons (I will be available to answer questions during the day)
Wednesday: 3 hour online Zoom Class
Thursday: Image assignment based on Wednesday lessons (available to answer questions during the day)
Friday: 3 Hour Image Critique Session of students work with their before & after image examples

- Use of Selective Adjustments for Fine Tuning Color, Luminosity, Depth & Impact

- Image Critique Session based on that weeks techniques
Week Three
Using photoshop for refined control of the image development
- Working With Layer Adjustments in Photoshop
- Using masks and brushes
- Luminosity masks and selections
- Dodging & Burning
- Post to the forum for feedback and questions on Tuesday & Thursday
- Image Critique Session based on that weeks techniques
Week Four
Advanced Development in Photoshop
- Multiple Exposure Blending
- Blending Different RAW Development for Creative Use of Color, Tone and Detail
- Focus Stacking
- Perspective Corrections
- Painting with Color & Light
- Smart Object Filters
- Complete Start to Finish Development from the RAW to Final Edits in Photoshop (putting it all together)
