Photograph the "Crown of the Continent", Glacier National Park's epic mountain landscapes with a dash of fall color.
Dates: September 19-22, 2023
Location: St. Mary, Montana
Instructors: Joseph Rossbach
Glacier National Park is truly one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Rocky Mountain West, how do you think it got the nickname "crown of the continent"? Glacier is situated in far north Montana straddling the border with our neighbor to the north, Canada. This workshop will include shooting some of the most epic Rocky Mountain landscapes as well as smaller scenes such as intimate aspen and fall color shots, waterfall details, wildlife and more.
Day 1: meet & greet starting at 1pm followed by an afternoon/sunset photo shoot in the park.
Day 2-4: We will be out every morning and afternoon chasing the best light in some of the best locations in the park. We will also, when the weather is right, spend time in that afternoons shooting intimate fall colors and wildlife. You can plan to be in the park most of the day with short breaks for meals and some downtime at the hotel in the middle of the day.
On Day 4, we conclude the workshop after our sunset shoot. This gives everyone a chance to sleep in the next morning before traveling back home
