For more than two decades, I’ve returned to the backroads, mountains, forests, and rugged coastlines of New England in search of the region’s fleeting autumn beauty. From the rolling hills and quiet farms of Vermont and the granite peaks and winding roads of New Hampshire, to the rocky shores of Acadia National Park and the remote fishing villages of Down East Maine, this collection is a long-term exploration of place, season, and atmosphere.
Created over the course of twenty years, these photographs reflect countless mornings before sunrise, storms chased along the coast, and brief moments of perfect light during the height of fall color. The work ranges from intimate woodland scenes to expansive coastal vistas, each image shaped by the ever-changing mood and character of autumn in the Northeast.
