On the Road in Iceland

We have been shooting and exploring the southern coast of the island for the past few days. The weather has been challenging to say the least, but I expect none the less. Two nights ago we were treated to some nice light at Jökulsárlón shooting the iceberg lagoon and the black sand beach marooned with small glacial ice from the lagoon.
We’re leaving Hofn this morning and beginning to work our way back toward Reykjavik. Today we will be photographing the big waterfalls along the southern coast. Richard Bernabe and I will be leading our group back to Reykjavik on Monday and the workshop ends on Tuesday.
The dates for our Iceland tour in 2013 are July 11 – 20, so mark your calendars. Half of the spots are already filled!

Joe continues to travel extensively producing new and exciting images of the natural world as well as leading several photography workshops and photo tours each year.
