The Pacific Northwest has treated me very well so far! I spent all of last week shooting in the Gorge and up on Dalles Mountain and Rowena Crest chasing wildflowers, waterfalls and light. The image above, Chasing Rainbows, was captured just after sunrise on a stormy morning on Dalles Mountain.
Driving rain soaked me only a few minutes earlier to capturing this image, Suddenly the sun broke free to the east and this amazing rainbow formed arching across the entire sky. I just so happened to be in the right place at the right time to photograph the Oak tree and flowers dotting the meadow. The rainbow only lasted for a few minutes before disappearing. I was lucky and thankful to have captured such a beautiful and unique moment.
