The Dance, Great Blue Herons, Venice Rookery, Florida
February 7th, 2013

I caught these two Great Blue Herons in an intimate moment just after sunrise as they preformed a courtship ritual from Venice Rookery, Florida.

This weekend I will conducting a Photo Bootcamp with Ian Plant on Chincoteague Island. The Bootcamp has proved so popular, selling out in no time at all and with at least five folks on the waiting list, that we have decided to schedule a second Bootcamp the weekend of March 9-10 with an opening reception Friday evening.
The Bootcamp is an intense weekend of shooting and lectures focusing on creative use of light, composition, mastering your camera and field techniques to think and shoot like a pro. Join us.
